The scoring rubric
Each product is scored against five weighted dimensions on a 1–5 scale, producing a composite score from which Tier 1 / Tier 2 placement is derived.

Disclosures
Affiliate relationships are surfaced on the page they appear, not buried in a footer. We never accept payment for ranking position, inclusion, or favorable language. Sponsored writing, when present, is labeled and segregated from editorial Journeys.
Update cadence
Each Journey is audited quarterly: pricing, feature parity, vendor solvency, and stack alternatives. Material changes trigger a re-publication with a dated changelog at the foot of the page.
Conflicts policy
No SpillSage analyst holds equity, advisory roles, or paid consulting relationships with vendors in their coverage area. Personal use of evaluated tools is required and disclosed.
Corrections
Errors of fact are corrected with a visible note within 72 hours of substantiation. We do not silently re-write history.
