These terms govern a SpillSage verification service. They supplement the Terms of Use and apply when a customer purchases or receives a verification-related service.
1. Service, not outcome
Payment purchases a defined verification service. It never purchases a favourable verification result, assessment, publication, badge, ranking advantage, marketplace preference, numerical trust score, or other trust outcome. The price of a service does not determine an assessment outcome.
2. Evidence and customer responsibilities
A customer may be asked to submit evidence relevant to the service. The customer must have the authority to provide the material, must not submit material that is misleading or unlawfully disclosed, and is responsible for the accuracy of statements made through the account. Evidence is associated with the relevant customer-owned service record and is subject to review under the applicable workflow.
3. Independent assessment
Assessments are governed by the evidence and the applicable assessment process. A reviewer may record a pass, fail, conditional, incomplete, or other supported outcome where the workflow permits. An assessment is not automatically created by payment and must not silently change an unrelated verification state.
4. Publication
A public trust profile is not automatic. Publication is permitted only when the required service fulfilment, canonical entity linkage, claims, evidence, verification-event provenance, and assessments satisfy the applicable publication controls. Where publication occurs, SpillSage keeps an immutable, versioned publication record. Historical records are not silently overwritten.
5. Incomplete, unsuitable, or disputed evidence
SpillSage may request clarification or further evidence when the available material is incomplete or unsuitable for the service. The customer may submit a correction request or report an apparent error through info@spillsage.com. A request for correction does not require a particular assessment or publication outcome.
6. Scope limits
A verification service is limited to the scope stated at checkout and in the applicable fulfilment record. It is not legal, financial, tax, insurance, or professional advice, and it is not a guarantee that a business, product, or person will perform in a particular way.
7. Relationship to refunds
Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy. A customer is not entitled to a refund merely because the assessment is not favourable or publication is unavailable.
8. Contact
Questions about a verification service, evidence, or an assessment can be sent to info@spillsage.com.
